Dairy Comp now uses Internet Protocol communications to serve data to other computers and pocket PCs. Such programs include the Pocket PC cowcard and milk tester, Feedwatch pen counts and client server DairyComp.
Norton Internet Security must now be configured to allow these programs to run. One way to do this is to permit connections for a particular program such as dcwin.exe. While this does work, we have to repeat the process every time we do a web update because Norton Internet Security sees a “new” program.
